Cross Sticking
There will be some situation where cross sticking needs to occur. Cross sticking is when you reach one hand over the other to play another drum. The most important concept of cross sticking is that the stick that is crossing over must make the same quality of sound as if it were played by shifting.
There are some instances where cross sticking is not ideal. Instead a double stroke (two strokes using the same hand) should be played.
